Fusing indie rock with electrifying dance elements, Cut the Carpets is Moon Sand Land’s most playful and experimental endeavor yet. Drawing inspiration from LCD Soundsystem, the song showcases a rhythmic rant that zig zags from one erratic thought to the next. Through the combination of whimsical, sporadic lyrics and an innovative sonic arrangement, the overall intensity and driving pulse of the song builds to total combustion. With this kind of chaos, dancing is the only solution.
